Rachel Stephens Photography is proud to announce SIRENS FOR SURVIVORS, empowerment for breast cancer survivors through photography. Rachel has seen her work empower women for the last four years and feels that if her work can make a difference in these womens lives, how can it affect breast cancer survivors? Our breasts are a center piece of our sexuality and we want to help these women embrace their new bodies and love themselves in their skin after losing their breasts to cancer. If we can help these courageous women love themselves in their own skin again after unimaginable emotional and physical hardship, we can help make this world a better place for them and for all of us. There is so much beauty in the world and that includes the beauty within each of us. Sirens for Survivors helps these women feel beautiful again after their courageous battle with breast cancer..

As she travels across the country for her portrait business, 'Sirens' photography for women, Rachel Stephens is giving away a custom portrait package to one survivor per event location and doing her part to assist the community and raise awareness about a disease that takes a woman's life every 13 minutes in the United States.

It's Rachel's dream to give back to the community of women who have given her so much. This program is made possible by the investment of each and every client who invests in Rachel’s services. This is a not for profit program and is funded solely by Rachel Stephens. Rachel's time and talent is donated while she pays for all other services assocaited with this service for her survivors. if you want to contribute, we do not accept donations or volunteers, all you need to do is just book your own session or a session for a friend. Tell your friends and help us spread the word about this program.

How to enter: Write an essay of up to 1,000 words about why you would like a Rachel Stephens photo session.

Be sure to include your name and all contact information: name, location desired, event date desired and contact information.
For verification purposes to qualify for this program, you must have your doctors office fax us a confirmation letter verifying that you have been treated for breast cancer masectomy and/or reconstruction surgery. All information is for verification purposes only, will be kept strictly confidential, and will not be published.

Essays will be judged on sincerity, clarity, and relevance to the topic, "Why I think a Sirens session can help me." Age limit for entrants is 21 and up.  You do not have to be a professional author.

You must have had masectomy and/or breast reconstruction surgery to qualify. Letter from your doctor for validation.
You must follow all of the above steps in order to qualify.
You must agree to one image being published (headshot okay) and submission of your testimonial after your session to share with others about your experience. Failure to submit testimonial will result in deletion of session images. All chosen candidates must agree to the RSP policy.

While we feel for anyone who has struggled with cancer in their lives and we realize there are many forms of cancer and illness that women survive, we feel that this program can only be affective if we focus on one cause. Therfore, we are only accepting breast cancer survivors who have lost their breasts to the disease. We feel these women are the best candidates for the work that we do and the empowerment that we can provide. We appreciate your understanding.
